Missing Out?

I have been reading on a forum called Govteen for at least a year and a half, and it depresses me to read about how many of them have experiences that I can only dream about. I mean come on, all I am asking for is a boyfriend. I just want to have someone to talk to and have fun with. I want to enjoy their company and likewise.

It seems that I can't even find that though. The problem that I have is figuring out if they are gay or not. Where I live, you just can't go up to someone and ask if they are gay. I sometimes really get started on this topic and I won't let it go.

It is really sad to see people at school with someone that they can care about while I am left all alone with my friends that don't even know that I am gay. It hurts when I hear one of them say something horrible about gays, and I can't even let them know. It can make you feel like the most isolated person on the planet.

Afraid to be me?

I sometimes look at what my life is currently like, and wonder how much better it would be if I came out. Sometimes I deeply consider coming out, but then I back away from the idea. Why? That is the question that I have been asking myself over and over. The only answer that I can think of is that I am afraid how my parents would react.

Things would be so much better, I would even have better luck at finding a date. I am just so afraid. I would love to have a boyfriend right now, but I am having no luck.

I finally decided to start a blog to talk about my life and troubles along the path. I will post more about myself later.

I am gay and live in a pretty conservative place, so as you can guess, I have trouble finding anyone. In fact, I haven't yet found that special someone that wants something more than sex. I am still a virgin, and am deeply searching for my better half.

I know that he is out there, I just have to keep searching.

I am not out to anyone, but plan to soon. I am just so afraid of what will happen.

I will share pictures that I think are hot on here as well.
